Throughout April we took 49 new cats into our care from a variety of places including supporting the Inspectorate, and lots of sick or injured cats found locally who needed help, as well as supporting social service and police requests for support.

Staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to make them feel at home as well and make sure they all had the treatments they need.

This is Stewie who was found very poorly with a very nasty burst abscess on his neck that had become very infected. He was found as an entire male and had been bitten with a cat that was infected with FIV, so sadly he now has that too. He is a shy boy who is looking for an indoor home, but due to lots of time spent socialising him, his confidence has improved immensely. He is now enjoying the love and care he is receiving from staff and volunteers after fending for himself on the streets with no one to care for him. His teeth were also rotten causing him to struggle to eat. He is currently recovering and on treatment.
