  1. One of the easiest ways to pamper a cat is to stroke it from head to tail along its back, this massage will improve its circulation and skin tone if done regularly.
     

  2. Do not over-feed your cat with treats fortified with vitamins. If the cat is eating a balanced diet they aren’t necessary.
     

  3. Some treats help to clean a cat’s teeth and prevent the build up of tartar, which inflames gun lines and weakens teeth.
     

  4. As your cat gets older; it may not always want to sit on your lap because its bones may be tender and uncomfortable.
     

  5. Aspirin is deadly to cats, so never be tempted to treat your unwell cat with remedies in the home. Always take your cat to a qualified vet. 
     

  6. Cats have no road sense. A cat hit by a car will not be any more wary in future. 
     

  7. Cats need very little exercise to keep them fit; even the act of stretching may be enough for some indoor cats.
     

  8. Neutered or spayed cats are generally more affectionate towards their owners and much easier to handle.
     

  9. You should never disturb a cat when it’s eating, sleeping or using the litter tray.
     

  10. Cats are a big commitment and i.e. on average for 13 years.
     

  11. Catnip is the best known of all plants, which appeals to cats. Cats of both sexes display a sense of well-being when in contact with this plant. Even wild cats including tigers roll over and become relaxed. Kittens however seem immune to its charms.
